Snelson’s Ditch Witch 4020 AT directional boring machine is ideal for underground installation of gas, water, telecommunications and sewer lines without excavation or trenching.  We have the capability to install 1” to 19” diameter HDPE, steel or PVC conduit.  Directional boring can be used for many different types of jobs, including road, railroad and river crossings.

Snelson also operations wheel trenchers for high production applications. In addition to directional boring, Snelson provides trenching capabilities. Snelson’s Vermeer Hydrostatic utility rock trenchers allow us to cut through rock or any demanding soil or terrain.

Snelson has shop and field pipe bending capabilities from 1" to 42" XX heavy wall pipe.

Snelson’s engineered vacuum excavator also provides an effective method for establishing depths and verifying locations of underground utilities.  This machine is self contained, trailer mounted, versatile and used routinely for:
