PLH Group and Snelson Companies Join Duke Energy in Providing Financial Assistance During COVID-19 Crisis

Since Snelson Companies, Inc. opened for business in 1946, it has consistently valued its customers and the communities it serves. Decades later, during a time when it is more important than ever to continue that spirit of value, Snelson remains true to the heritage of our founders’ philosophy. Most recently, Snelson and its parent company, PLH Group, partnered with the Duke Energy Foundation to provide assistance to low-income residents in North Carolina who are struggling to pay utility bills during the COVID-19 crisis.

Snelson Companies and PLH Group made a $10,000 donation to the Energy Neighbor Fund (Duke Energy Progress) and Share the Warmth (Piedmont Natural Gas) programs.  Both of these long-standing initiatives assist residents struggling to pay heating and cooling utility costs.

“When we provide our services to a community, we don’t just supply our expertise. We become part of the community. That is why assisting those who are financially struggling because of the COVID-19 crisis is so important to who we are as an organization,” said Alex Epstein, president of Snelson Companies. “We truly care about our communities and will continue to stand by them.”
